General Information
What to Expect
Your first visit can be scheduled within 24hours, if necessary. This visit will include a comprehensive evaluation with a licensed physical or occupational therapist who will establish a treatment plan with you and your physician that is tailoredto your specific needs.
Expect to be at the center for between 60 and 90 minutes. Please come 15 minutes early to complete necessary history forms that our receptionist will give you when you arrive. Successive treatments can last from between 45 and 90 minutes.
Please call outpatient services 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel an appointment. You will be rescheduled within the week of your cancellation.
How Do I Get Started?
Anyone interested in participating in one of our programs must have a prescription from a physician. For more information or to schedule an appointment. please call us directly at our center near you. Early morning, day, evening and Saturday hours are available.
Will my insurance Cover the Cost of My Treatment?
Healthsouth Rehabilitation Centers participate in all major insurance plans. Prior to your first visit, we will verify your insurance and inform you of the extent of your coverage.
How Should I Dress for My Outpatient Treatment?
Wear clothing that allows you to move freely during your exercise program. Tennis or walking shoes are recommended.
